EVENT PLANNING

Full on, 110% Event Planning

From the time you get the ring till you walk down the aisle, I’ll spearhead the whole process. I’ll research, review, and negotiate with venues and vendors, guide the planning process from initial budget to event design to invitations to favors, as well as guide the day itself. I custom tailor your wedding to your personal style, taste, and budget, and my relationships with key vendors allow me to save you big time – often as much as my fee – so you can get the wedding you want within the budget you set.


WEDDING COORDINATION

Coordination with a Personal, Expert Touch

This service is never just a day’s work. As soon as I’m hired, you have unlimited email and phone contact; in addition, I will create your schedule, handle logistics, confirm and troubleshoot with vendors, and conduct a walk-through with on-site management. By the time your wedding week comes, you have the comfort of knowing a professional is handling all the details.

It is important to understand that I do not just show up the week of, or the day before. To do so would risk a less-than-perfect, less-than-polished day, because I always find outstanding issues that are missed in the planning process, and fix them before they become a problem. I offer reassurance and sound advice to my clients about many, if not all, aspects of their event leading up to the wedding itself, which is a big part of the value of this service.

Coordination includes:

Venue: “Site inspection” with clients at wedding venue

Ceremony:

  • Thorough discussion of ceremony with client and officiate – processional order, special requests, and other pertinent details.
  • Coordinate rehearsal
  • Coordinate and prep ceremony musicians
  • Oversee and cue ceremony

Reception:

  • Unlimited email and phone contact
  • Preparation of day-of schedule
  • Confirmation with all vendors
  • Main contact for all vendors and venue management
  • Coordinate load-in and set up of all rentals and vendors at reception
  • Coordinate flow of events at reception
  • Maintain/refresh décor (light candles, rearrange gift table, etc.) throughout evening
  • Answer guest/vendor questions
  • Assistant working the event
  • Pack up gifts
  • Distribute vendors’ tips and oversee load out


A LA CARTE SERVICES

Venue Consultation – I will assist couples in finding their perfect venue, based on their specific needs and budget. This service allows clients to take advantage of my extensive knowledge of both widely known venues and hidden gems. I will provide clients with ample research, a comparison chart of pros and cons, and thorough ongoing discussion throughout the decision-making process.

Budget Consultation – An invaluable service. I’ll create a budget based on the client’s guest count, desired venue options, and general scope of event. Couples are able to see the ‘ripple effect’ of how one key decision can affect the cost of several other aspects of the event – and by learning about unusual fees or extensive costs specific to event planning, our budget helps them avoid runaway costs. After the budget is created, we’ll discuss it in great detail at an in-person meeting.


“DAY OF” COORDINATION

This is the ideal service for those who have completed the entire event planning process but wants to leave the final event day details to a professional. I will begin working with you approximately one month prior to your event and provide full day of event coverage while offering a strong sense of assurance that everything will flow flawlessly on the day of your event.
